Expanding foam??

Where gaps are big in tacking is it the done thing to use expanding foam ? Then cut back when dry?? Bonding will crack and fall out is there any other methods for large gaps in tacking ??

I mean in dodgey barns where joists are everywhere and are about as straight as a roundabout , and not a pro at scripeing so little gaps are innevitable?

if they are only small gaps, bond out scrim over them. you do need to learn how to scribe.

Been on a job where a mate had boarded it out the day before and had foamed gaps. Worked great
