I’ve used a Chinese electric winch recently. They’re decent for the price but not on par with Lewmar. For a 14t multihull, the 1200W (240kg) seems underpowered. The 1600W (340kg) is better but still borderline for serious loads. Build quality is hit or miss, so buy from a reputable supplier and be prepared to reinforce or service it. If it’s for occasional use, they can work. But for critical or frequent loads, I would go with a trusted brand.I bought one years ago and never used it.
