Dry Rot Inhibitor

hi ; the masonry of my house have suffered dry and wet rot.

they're being sprayed by a specialist.

i've been told that there are additives that can be used in the plaster and sand and cement mixes that act as a fungicide to further inhibit any spores that may be present in the brickwork.

what are these additives called? what brand names do they go under.......

finally how effective is it? it isn't a big dry rot outbreak, but I really don't want to see it coming back...

worked on a job this year were they painted black bitumen primer on the walls prior to dabbing and skim.i was very sceptical about this bitumen even phoned bg they said no chance !anyway went with the dab over bitumen as i had no choice toand to my suprise building been painted cant see nothing through skimmed walls.

Very surprised the dabs took to the bitumen
 
l told all the lads on the job dabs will show through !the builder employing myself etc and nothing came through went back over 2 months later and nothing.they panted all the exterior walls in a bitumen primer cant remember name but saw labelling on drum which stated bitumen primer.
