dpc beads

got a bungalow to render has been render originally to floor covering dpc its all been hacked of so needs rendering again above and below dpc going to run a belldrip bead along the dpc line

wen rendering the underneath aint sure weather is going to bridge the dpc any way around it ?

No it won't. Put the plastic drip on the dpc line and render down to and up to it. The drip itself will act as a dpc for the render.

I did one and put the drip bead on then a stop bead underneath with enough gap to put a bead of silicone

Same here. Back to back stop beads either or a stop bead below drip filled with silicon

Or a movement bead. No need then to worry about the silicone breaking down.

We usually put the bell cast on then render beneath as normal and just before we leave use the trowel on a slight angle to cut above and behind the bead but below the dpc.
The bell won't allow water to drip round and the gap won't be seen unless you get down on the ground and look up.
