Dot & Dab

i dot on the wall normally as its easier to judge low spots or hollows in the brick plus i find it easier to move the board if working with out a lab
 
walls unless its a reveal then i stick it on the board i find it cleaner that way
 
Trying to picture someone with an 8 x 4 board full of dabs & trying to 'place' it over a couple of electrical boxes:RpS_scared:

always dab the wall & beef it up along the skirting, or where the kitchen/bathroom fittter needs them, and where the rads are gonna be - if the CH guy can be bothered to tell me where he wants them:RpS_thumbup:
