going start on my walls this weekend. not sure what block to get. was getting dense block for the reason its going to be a kitchen and will be hanging loads of units on the walls and that. want it to be solid. the outside is getting cladded with larch so will be putting batten on it so want that to be solid. when i was looking at it online the thermalites are 7n the same as the dense. why doesnt anyone use the thermalites on the outer skin? maybe they do. maybe i have just never noticed. like when you buy a new car and then you start seeing every other one on the road whereas a week before youd never noticed them. do you think id be okay with the thermailtes?

If being clad or tile hanging i see thermalites. Whack nails in for battens in quick. Bish bash bosh
rendered- concrete block (Or so they should be)

The other part of that post (ffs!) is the 7n version are just more expensive versions of the 'normal' 7n blocks.
