hi there
i used to use two pieces of timber (4B2) screwed togheter T shape to hold plasterboard on cealing (DEAD MAN) when overboarding
just wonder if u can buy something specially make for it, made of hard plastic or something...

as my english is not good enough dont know how ask about it at the shop

anyone could help me?

Yeah I've got two props that are on a ratchet they are the best thing I've ever bought B&Q stock them £14.99 I think

Apparently on paper it was beep beep but on the cartoon it was Meep meep so everyone's a winner. Case closed :)

we got one of the plasterboard hoists from ebay ..

great piece of kit but only use on rooms over 12'x12'

great for high ceilings too.....
 
If there's any tile lathe knocking about I'll screw a couple of bits (4" approximate) to the edges the board so there's 2" sticking out. Then just lift the board up, slot the sticking out bits over your last row of boards and lift - couple of screws to tack and Roberts your mother's brother. First row I've tacked nails into the wall (on new builds).
Ive done this when I've been stuck on my own. Buggered on overboards though lol (dead mans arm needed then (seen the telescopic ones and they look useful)
