I'm guessing as it says sturdy 1.5m aluminium featheredge they're made of melted down curly wurlys

I use a Darby for all o my floating work always have done.i think they are a great tool.i was brought up using one.dont think you can buy the really broad anymore.mine is still as straight as the day I bought it. 30years go.
 
I use a 4 foot from tool station
If you rule off well it is a bit pointless having one but at only £30 fun to play with for a bit
Becomes just a reference for your eyes like a straight edge really more than achieves anything else but can take off a high maybe cleaner than a rule because it budges it away supporting what’s left underneath rather than tearing off and leaving a void :aburrido:
