I went to pricexa job today for an old couple.
A converted double garage.
It was flooded a few years back so theyve taken up the wooden floor.
Theyve had a so called damp specialist in . Whose injected 3 walls. I looks like hes removed about a foot of the old render and finish and the put tanking slurry on it. Then brushed some grey stuff over the floor.
Theyve asked me to skim it.
Ive told them its basically a crap job and it should be chopped off about 1.2m up and waterproofed.
I feel sorry for them to be honest.
Anyone know of a cheap alternative

No . But in our area we get flooded due to drains not being able to handle the rain if the town pumps dont kick in

Im probably going to have to tell them the bottom metre needs to come off.
Which isnt going to be nice. As has far as im aware they weren't scrimping on the price when the other bloke started
