Cracks near pvc window ledges.

Rendered a bungalow, looks really nice.

Noticed some cracks just above the each corner of the front window ledges (4 corners, 2 winows). It sounds hollow when i tap it for a few inches surrounding the crack.

I re-did a section and the same thing has happened.

Any ideas? Do i need something flexible in there?

Mix was 4 1 scratch and 5 1 1 top. went on to exposed bricks and used plastic beads.

Brick has a very high suction,was the whole bungalow originally brick?

It had pepple dash on, which we hacked off.

i could be differential movement ie concrete lintel or wood .did u eml it first ???

Lord and downing supply stress patches for the corners of windows, not sure how much they are though

Did u wash the windows straight away afterwards or did you wait for the gear to dry ?

we didn't use eml

I scrape off the big lumps of gear, and the rest is wiped / washed off after it has dried.
