crack in reskimmed ceiling..

reskimmed a ceiling of about 15 square m beginning of last week and a crack has appeard?any suggestions??Maybe pipes running through the floor joists have dried it out to quik.it also had a good pva before we started it to....

any suggestions would be a great help.

might be that the crack was already there in which case if you didn't scrim it it'll come back.

one mans ceilings another mans floor,people are always walkin,jumpin and running about,anyway just tell the people you didnt put the crack there and its the painters job to prep the ceiling

Always chech the ceiling before you skim it for movement I try and re screw any moving boards

only one of 2 things it could be, they have already been pointed out. No scrim over old cracks or movement in the boards.

Is it a deep crack? can u feel it? If not then it might of dryed out a little to fast and if you cant feel it then it should be good to paint!
