coving

A while back I taking my chimney breast out and so now I need to put up a new length of coving.
My problem is the old coving is imperial so if I fix 127 mm it will not line up with the profiles
on existing coving . Am nearly thinking of running a peice in situ.

A piece of 127 should scribe into 5" no problem.

Yep agree with tony, aslong as the bottom edge lines up with existing you can loose it in the mitre.

Ive done the same before. Was in the middle of nowhere and had to match a new piece of bg up to old gyproc. Like flynny says.make sure the bottom matches up and you can fiddle and fill the rest.
