Got this lady in a big ol house and in one of her 7 on sweet bathrooms she wants coving.
Problem is that the tiles go to the ceiling and she doesn't want to remove any. The tiles are old school 80's style, black, highly glazed with gold patterns. Iesh, really terrible.
Does anyone know if coving, boarding adhesive will adhere to the tiles. ;D

Did this. In my bathroom a few months back. Used supercove as it's light and gripfill to stick. Solid as.

Surprisingly it will adhere. I usually bang some thin sheradised pins through, in line with the grout lines though, to be safe.

just stick it up with tile adde ,wots wrong with that ???
mmmm, and then when the tile adhesive shrinks as it dries, you can make another trip back to fill it again.

I'll put up the coving in the am and do some other work and in the pm I'll put some caulking on the bottom bit.
So no choir practice next sunday then, oh well.

my next door neighburs a painter and decorator and swears by the stuff. can't see the point of it when you can put up a 4m length of plaster cove with one man

like i say, supercove is good for putting on tiles as it weighs f all and it looks like plaster cove when its up.
