Hey up guys I have a job to patch up a wall, straight forward I thought but went to look at it and it's concrete wall!!! Now is the best method sand and cement? Reason for asking is it's a days work with other bits to do in the house so I don't really want to go back another day to skim any advice welcome lads

if you use sand and cement you wont be skimming it the same day,, you'd also need some sort of bonding agent,, i would probably use bonding and skim same day

Yeah I was going to use bonding I don't want it to fail that's all so I was think in make a cement slurry paint on the patch bond then skim and it's a internal wall pal

EML and bonding???

You would need to let a cement slurry go off before bonding over.

Or WBA and get a heater on it them bonding and set same day.

If it's smooth concrete bonding will blow off, use bondit first then bond and skim :)

Slurry is a lot cheaper plus very strong bonding agent - WBA is good but not as strong as slurry - if you are in hurry and only patching then WBA will do with bonding coat & skim

Hurryslurry? Nice one ryan:RpS_lol:
better than imo.:RpS_biggrin:
