Getting feed up with getting screwed by big building firms and the small ones as well all plasters should have the same day rate and meterage rate and all plasters should stick together and name and shame them so we can all get better. Rates

the law in this country looks after the fat cat and screws the little man and nothing will change while these blue collars are in parliment. There are two or three campaign groups trying to get the law changed on construction contracts and late payment/debt etc the gov. wont listen

Did you know that by law its not even considered to be a debt until its 60 days overdue from the agreed date of payment ? ? so there aint nothig you can do until then anyway (legally) try taking your weekly shop from tesco and tell em you will pay em in 60 days and see what happens eh.

they could feasably drop vat to 5 % on domestic building work aswell but they aint intrested.

you will get ripped off working for most building co. they just try to get in between you and your pay check.
building co. can not survive with out plasterers but we can survive with out them.
we have only done domestic private work for the last 20 years and we have no non payers. we have higher wages with no stoppages, and if i am not home by 3 oclok it is a bad day.
