ceiling has fibreboard

Hi guys anyone know if you can skim on top of fibreboards?

Personally I would not. So either over board it and skim, or pull it down and board and set.

Yeah I agree mate,either overboard or pull it down and reboard.

fibreboard ,tintest board, essex board all usuall go out of shape. you may be able to overboard, if the joists are close together and the fibreboard is flat. or pull it down
