Just say you had a win at casino a while back, kept it back as didnt want to put in bank 4 this reason but now uve no choice, tbh mate it dsnt matter as chances of being investigated at minute are very slim, past 6 years there cant go back that far, guna be years b4 HMRC are back to normal

A gift of cash up to £3000 a year is allowed, up to £6000 if received no cash in previous tax year.

There would still trace the source of where it came from..dsnt matter donzo world is f**k*d there wont be bothered at minute.can get away with quite abit I'd imagine 4 nxt few years

You could ask some one to pay you ? You give them the cash , have an invoice for it etc , might have to split the tax , ie costs you ten percent

There ain’t no paper trail if I put £50 on a horse and it pays out say £5k I hand slip over they hand cash over no receipt or anything there’s nothing no name address anything! Bookies winning is totally untraceable to a individual person done in bookies with cash
Thought they would of been

The “I won it in a bookies “ where’s the proof , for hmrc you need proof , if they ask and you can’t prove it , they may tax and fine you and check your accounts closely

It’s simple , you have £5000
Cash , you want to put in an account, you give it to an ‘employer ‘ he pays you £4500
, you can claim it on your taxes , basically getting your £500 back ,
So next time you do that, get in touch with me,il gladly take £500 off you

U never taken cash and not declared? Be honest?
I’m not judging either, I’m just saying the solution is simple. Where people f**k up with cash jobs is doing them cheaper. If you charge the same and end up declaring it then it’s cost you nothing

If you have a personal and separate business account then I would put it in the personal account. No more than 4K at a time as 5k and over gets flagged....(not that you’ve done anything wrong or it’s from skulduggery, but why have the agro). Then transfer the money to business account as a directors loan. You can then pay it back to yourself tax free when you’ve got it.
