Carlite skim finish

been using this weeks now good old tack saves me ringing merchants up the time and effort organising or not being able to get hold of board finish or multi so cut all that out and buy all my materials from walls and ceilings in alcester now

Looks good mate what differences would you say you have come across using this stuff compared to multi/board finish

Cheers it’s nice when mixing very creamy think it needs more water it looks like it toughens up more in the bucket but still workable nice stuff but also looks like it has like bonding bits in it that come upto the surface when trowelling up I think the ultra is a better carlite than the Carlite finish ultra didn’t have these bits in it dosent drag comes upto the surface

How much they knocking it out for. May need to pop there for a few bags

Kind of like old board finish when it was grey, think that different types of gypsum pink/grey finish differently.
 
Definitely different that could be to do with the different rock but I am not sure myself 100% finish differently
I'd much rather go back, and dump all that pink shite. I know from experience that when multi came out it required different timing and how much water to use.
