plaster have trouble sticking to render with waterproofer in.

If it wasnt keyed ... Use a bonding agent first ? Sure brownings for high suction , sure you want to be using bonding ?

Scud it first,but I would recommend renovating plaster..

i have never seen anyone apply browning or any other gypsum plaster to a tanking system.

Browning would slide down the tanking and be a nightmare.. Render lite and dricoat are bad enough on tanking
