Byson units

Hello all,
This is my first post, I have been asked to plaster byson units in a carport. I have plastered these before in apartments or flats but as on this occasion they are outside bonding doesn't suit. Has anyone used anything else ?, K-rend or something? would be a bit messy with sand and cement as its overhead but that may be the better or cheapest option, thanks in advance for any advice.

I think so. Is there anything that would suit to render it. Ie it's like a scudded ceiling in an open carport so it will be affected in some way by the weather

If I was doing it I'd scudd and sand and cement it but I'm a dinosaur! Hopefully one the boys who know about modern renders might be along in a bit.

I am not too clued up on renders but if it was inside I would strap them and board, can you do something similar with a cement board?

Can you hammer fix a MF grid up there and cement board it ?

Otherwise I'm with pug, scud it and s and c. Messy old job though :)
