Building out render

Hi lads. Have got a rendering job to do in weber pral m.. Chopped it off and gonna rend aid it but it needs building out in places to level it up!! Do I rend aid it and then level it up with OCR to receive scratch rend... Cheers lads

Weber will spec OCR but when I've had to do it in the past I've slurried the brickwork built it out with S&C with sbr in it then rendaid and meshed before topping with mono

For what it cost just sbr then OCR it then go over with rendaid

Ok mate,, if I did rend aid it and then build up with OCR , would I have to rend aid the OCR

Depends how much there is I would just scratch it mate for a key

Why Rend Aid over the sand/cement? Sounds crazy.

Rend aid the substrate, dub out with sand/cement with waterproofer then top.

Thats the way we have always done it and never had a problem.
