It's easy mate, just run it over your wall to take high spots off.

I use it in most bagged renders now
I'm doing a parexlime render and using a isection before the float

I'd love to work for you or @owls or @Rigsby for a week as am out of date on all the latest render. The last mono job I did was 3 years ago I think. It's all been sand and cement and dash.
