I have just had an extension built which i am plastering. i have 100mm cavities from my concrete blocks to my windows and wanted to know if i just dot and dab the board with nohing in the cavity or do i put noggins in for the board to rest on. Whats the best option

use cavity closers first then stick plasterboard on top of that its better insulation

Also i have 2.4 x 1.2 boards for the vaulted ceiling. there is 2 of us putting up the boards but am having a massivie struggle. we have some scaffy boards and trellus but finding it very difficult to get the boards up. Can anyone share there methods. I really could do with some help

Why are you plasterboarding the vaulted ceiling I have always floated them. Are you cutting the paper on the back of the boards every 50-75mm and snapping the cuts to help the board bend?

might not of meant a vaulted ceiling. it's a lean too off the outside wall. what does floating mean

Make sure you are at the right height before you start your head should only be a couple of inches from the joists, make up a dead man or use props there more of a technique to it than you think. What board are you using fire check ?

Sorry to me a vaulted ceiling is a curved or barrelled ceiling. Floating is.... well you really should know.
