I think it's like a Ponzi thing some win most loose .ask someone to explain it ,they can't.
I have traded crypto in the past but it is no longer possible in this country due to a change in the law, unless you are a professional trader. If you own bitcoin you are not making money either because you need to sell to make a profit. @markyspread you would not pick up your trowel if you could make more at your computer desk? if anyone has proof of holdings put them up.

Sorry mate no change in the law , dont know what you are talking about ? i do it all the time on coinbase pro, and i often withdraw profits to my barclays with no dramas, i declare my capital gains at the end of the year, and the taxman is happy £12,300 is the threshold atm.
Do the math, make trades below that and all is well, anything above is 0-20% long term holdings.

Most normal folk do not understand fiat currency and yet thats what is drilled into us , crypto is a zero sum game in that the money has to come from somewhere.
buy red sell green, even us spreads can work to that formula

I was referring to trading as opposed to buying. What is the minimum purchase amount, Can you buy a quarter of a bitcoin on coinbase?

The ignorance on here about crypto is laughable.you aint a clue I've been doing it for a year,I've made a few few £k at present and yes I've sold part coins and yes it's gone into my bank.same story with everything on here, because certain people can't do it its either fake or a scam etc.laughable read up on it as it's happening

So many people still sleeping on crypto that it's laughable, I was able to hang up my tools this year thanks to it. Would I recommend buying bitcoin at its current price.....no as at best you will 2-3 x your money in coming months. Look into altcoins with a use case not memes like shib and bloody doge that have had their run, and have no companies behind them. Go on coinkgecho look at the % rise from all time lows some have done a 100x your money some 400x some 1000x, would I buy the ones that have ran like this no, but I am holding Vidt which still has 100x potential which verifies all and any data and also plantasma soul 50x potential which is a whole blockchain in itself. I bought bitcoin at an average price of £2500 and ethereum at an average of £150 so I know how these things can run and multiple your doe beyond belief. Don't go all in with money you need for bills but if you have a few k spare sitting in the bank doing nothing now is the time to jump in as the next few months will be parabolic....but you need patience don't check the price hourly as it will move up and down and that's where people lose their arse and sell at a loss, to achieve even a 10x you need to switch off and have your target not watch the charts hourly. Anyone wants any info on best exchanges to buy or good entry points reach out and I'll help as I can....I had a fecked back and knackered shoulders for 20 plus years so know the grind and glad to get out of it. Regarding the images people are talking about these are nfts digital art....it's a big craze for geeks who are willing to spend hundreds of thousands on an image in the hope they will 10x their money...not my thing, doubt its yours either.
