Bauwer finish coat - getting there

So a picture of one of the walls I'm doing there is another one opposite so nice starting size.

first coat on with mesh bedded in - second coat on and troweled once to get as flat as possible.

It almost felt like I was trowelling on tile adhesive.

Flattens in pretty nicely.
Sponged around edges to clean skirting and ceiling line.

Just about to sponge over for the first time.

Can you not use multi or board over it?

No. I need these walls to breath as very old house but was a cold room so we went for this product.

Really happy with final results!

On another thread Bauwer have advised not to skim multi over bauwer light.

Believe it's perlite lime and a small amount cement but is breathable with thermal qualities.

The 2nd sponge makes a big difference.
It's looks s**t drying out tho. But paints up nice.

Yeah went over it a third time just to make sure and feels good.

No worries. Did a bit more myself today, trowelled up well.
