If the basecoat is white and the temp is cool then primer isn't needed surelyThat's along time, some on here don't even prime but i suppose if you've got a few jobs on the go its the way forword
Used an Italian acrylic top coat called Settef on uf fibre base coat which didn't need primer but i would always prime my own jobs and if parinter is rock hard by the end of the day in colder weather then thats answered Adolfs questionIf the basecoat is white and the temp is cool then primer isn't needed surely
I don't prime parinter before texture finish.its rock hard by the end of the evening
.I've sprayed over grey base coat once without primer, no problem it was a small job, it was nice you could see where you've been better, with no sun blind [emoji106]. I wouldn't do it normally but I know lads that don't prime at all because of sun blind and it drys in winter quicker
Yes agree on decent size builds mate, we have used the green netting. I have sprayed lots of silicone TC,but I'm talking bungalows and areas where using tower scaffold, plus only sprayed without primer once, wouldn't make a habit of it. Needs and must at the time [emoji106].
when we apply acrylic we have the green netting on the scaffolding shielding sun light and to cut out wind. making the application simple.
Bloody hell I bet you s**t it hahaA few years ago i was working with a plasterer who had been working in Holland ,we were doing 2 houses together both had extensions just built ,we got a shipment of base coat and acrylic over from Holland, we were short of a few bags for the front of one of the houses but we had more coming over for another big house, when this arrived the base coat was different it was knauf so we used this to finish the front of the house , it was summer time so we topped 3 days later and when we finished the ivory top coat pink blotches started to appear and within 2 hours the front of the house was pink we couldn't explain it but found out it was the lime in base coat which wasn't fully dry and the next day it had reverted back to its original colour ....f**k**g true story i kid you not !
