Always keep rolls of 4" wide tape, dead handy especially for splayed internals were the boarders never chamfer the boards, so theres always a huge gap. Rough fookers get away with murder, all you ever hear "itll be alright plasterer will get over it!, w@nkers".

We use the JRT Scrim from R&J, good tape. Although, just had a box of the 100mm wide tape delivered and have been charged £6+vat per roll! That will be going back to their warehouse.

@Wezly we had a box of the 100mm scrim off them recently and paid £5+vat a roll.

It's got good adhesion, it's got mesh cloth in it & a Matt finish to plaster onto, what's not to like about it :RpS_thumbsup:

Cut each side with a Stanley knife like you would a pizza and it won't Frey in strings ,it will Frey only to the size of your cuts and you won't have it wrapping around your fingers

Thats the one I use but still Freys a bit,maybe not so much with the pizza cut method though?
