Artex sealer

Looking for something with a bit more b*ll***s in it to even out suction other than pva. Does anyone use artex sealer? Is one or two coats needed and once applied will it still need to be pva'd

I use it thined 50/50 with water as a plaster primer ready to take emulsion. Works well and no crazing like you get with pva. I also have used it for years to seal artexed ceiling ready to plaster skim as I find it seals better than pva. And for sealing ready to artex a ceiling as like I said before it seals better than pva
