Anglia lime products

Hi everyone
I am normally in the general plastering section but I could do with some advise.

I have been asked to do a restoration using anglia lime products on savolit plus fibre boards with fibre chalk ready mix.

Now I have never done any lime plastering and I have told the customer this and they seem quite happy.

I have told them that I need to research it before I can consider the project.

I have Been told that I should allow more time to do a room as it takes longer than gypsum products.

Have also been told to charge more as it is a specialist field.

As I said in the start I have never used lime plaster

So all and any useful tips advise would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Mark

anglia limes have a huge stock of lime, chalk, lath, hair and tools. they are based in farm buildings way out in the countryside nr sudbury, suffolk.

lime work is very slow and expensive . where are you based?

I had a look about this a couple of years ago and it sounded impressive especially on lath work as you can apply very thick in one pass, and on what your using it claims to be very flexible.
I know that someone from the Anglia lime company is a member on here but not posted much.

Iv used their thetmalime. It's good s**t. Knocks up easy. Spreads like bonding and rules off easier. U can't build it up in coats it all goes on in one hit and sticks to pretty much anything. And u can float it up same day and run a trowel over it in the morning to get a smooth finish on for inside work. It can also be used outside.

And I'm not even an anglia lime rep!
