Anglebead crack repair

Hi all,

So....the underside of the upper window reveal needs patching following a new window. That's ok.

There is a horizontal crack about an inch from the lip assumingly following the angle bead underneath. Is it better to place a stop bead on the very edge and skim to it.
Or scrim them patch over it, but this would leasve me little space to get the blend done?

Is it common in general for you guys to use stop beads when reskimming just one window return only?

Nope... never use stop beads for that
