no! beads attach to block/brickwork

You can set them before or with the scratch coat mate!Depends if there a bellcast going on ,you would need to scratch first then put on bellcast ,then set beads. :-?

do you use a stop bead or a bellcast when dividing a large wall in to 2 sections. cheers

You ca use a bellcast bead across the wall horizontally to split it in two halves, get it strait though or it will look crap, You can divide a wall long ways vertically with an expansion bead, to separate it into sections

dont think ive ever seen an expasion bead on a house before. do u attach them were it looks best or do you attach them by m2. cheers

On a big building it would go over a control joint in the blockwork, so when the two halves move it dos'nt crack the render
