hi guys
i recently bought a eps hot knife from ebay as i thought it was a bargain at £70 with spare blades and a blade for cutting out details like corble stones ect. i requested it to be sent in 110v to be used on uk construction sites as i was buying from a german seller which they said they would do.
now ive received the hot knife which is 110v but has a european two pin plug attached! my question is this as it is already in 110v format could i just snip off the two pin and connect a yellow 110v plug?
any advice would be greatly received
thanks

hi guys @UKPlasteringmachines yeh mate it is a black two pin, ive checked the box it came in and on the hot knife itself and both state its a 110v tool, i took it apart last night to have a nose at the inside and decided not to change the lead as it is wired underneath the component board which i dont want to tart around with hence the thinking behind just changing the ende plug.
thanks for the help guys
