there's been a few post in recent weeks regards the standards dropping at colleges - just wanted to say not all colleges churn out cowboy trainees - some of us take pride in training future plasterers

I've had the pleasure to meet @puddove and his side kick @sid8 and great lads just ashame they had to leggit after the BG tour and not come on the lash with us lot :RpS_laugh: :RpS_thumbup:

looks good, now isnt this the way to go, as opposed to a short course... course it is... are they in college bays mate ?? thats like we used to do.... bummer when you had to knock it all off tho...lol

hi cassie - yeah each student takes ownership of a bay, these are about 3m x2m all have door & window openings, some of the bays have a chimney breast, others have recesses, there is an area for making the fibrous, which they then fix in their bay

same as shirecliffe mate.. had that many things going on in the bays..lol.. we ran fibrous on the walls aswell and screeded the floor... if i remember we dashed one bit, plain faced cement, float and skim, screed, cornice, some mad run in situ on wall, ceiling rose, tyrolean, board and skim ceiling.. niche... arch....

yeah same as -I try to set projects that cover, a wide range of the plasterers duties- I can feel more photos making their way onto the forum :RpS_thumbup: ill try to sort some solid work out - don't want it to be death by fibrous :RpS_lol:
