600mm floor protector fitting to packexe 625mm applicator

I use taktec floor protector but I like the packexe application machine. It makes it easy to apply however, packexe application machine takes a 625mm wide roll but most brands like taktec are 600mm wide so I bought 2 rolls of 12mm masking as packers, that fit both ends and works a treat.. Run out the roll on floor no problem. They are the thin blue rolls either end in picture.

Does that cut it too ?

No.. I use a plastic cutter or knife.. Few different sorts from 50p to £5 to cut.. I seem to cut my self like I'm self harming these days with sharp blades so safety knife like pic is my first choice

Anyone tried the taktec from one stop plastering shop? Good value
