The ritmo needs to be run by 2 5kva transformers, 1 to the machine, & 1 to the compressor & water pump. The connection on the transformers is a larger one which is 32amp, so why has the ritmo got the 16amp connections? Also, does 5kva run through both the 32amp, & the 16amp socket on the transformer? Cheers guys, just a little confused lol.

You can get both 16 and 32 on a 5kva transformer or equally one or the other. 5 kva refers to the amour of power it supplies obviously. I don't remember the exact figures but when the machine starts it draws more power than a standard 3kva transformer can supply but at the lower am page. The water pump and compressor draw less power but need the greater ampage hence the 32 amp socket....clear as mud!!!!!

The ritmo and standard internal compressor and pump will run of one 5kva. However we always run two boxes as we have the water but and pump well out the way and pump the water 25m+

Also if you run a bigger 110v air compressor like the refina you will need a seperate box.

If you go for a even bigger clarke pe15 then the transformer will have to be feed via a 32amp 240v supply
