    Nela and Refina

I agree mate. Its like the eskimos have fifty words for snow when basically its all the same thing. They see snow differently than others like plasterers see trowels differently.

    worse trade ever! nowadays

Times have changed I think and you just have to get used to the situation. There is no point whinging about it on here. Just because someone has done a couse it does not mean that they are not a good plasterer does it?

    Skimming over painted walls.

Hi. I would agree that bluegrit the day before is the best bet in these circumstances if you dont ahve the time you can use pregrit. It says on the tub to leave for twenty four hours but we have used it this week and it was ready to skim over an hour lateer. It seems to be just PVA with...

A few pictures of some of the nicer jobs I got to do the past year.

It is impressive work wallmonkey. But i have to agree with the comments about the herringbone. I am sorry. Sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind. That sounds daft but you know what I mean

    Distemper

Good advice Ashley. We have done several jobs similar were we have used a stabilising solution prior. I think it is blackfryers we use but there is an artex one called stabilex. If we can be of any more help just ask. "If in doubt shout" :RpS_thumbup:
