For anyone wondering. I am going with aquapanel joint filler. Weber said basecoat can't be left with out topcoat for winter.
Where aquapanel supplier says the boards are safe for 6 months when joints meshed and filled with aquapanel exterior joint filler.
Ok, so weather depending, I will be using Weber thin coat onto aquapanel cement board.
My question is would it cause any issues to mesh the joints with lac rapid and leave it for winter? Or is it better to use aquapanel joint filler?
job is not ready yet and I'm afraid temperatures might be too...
Hi all, been on this a while but never posted.
Anyone use bollix thin coat? Think it's branded as soltherm in Ireland for ovios reasons! Used Weber lac and silicone TC in the past but prices have gone mad.
Or is there any cheaper lac/hpx type basecoat alternative?
