    K Rend and decking

    Hello, i am planning on using K Rend for a garage where there will be decking attached to wall. would it be ok to unscrew outer boards beside wall and K Rend down to the ledger? Then just plane the deck board and screw back down? It's single skin no DPC Might be be a stupid question...

    Thanks for the advice, I think I'll strip back to old scratch and SBR. I can't see where the DPC is but if I fit the bell bead about 175mm above floor should that be safe enough? Thanks again, much appreciated Greig

    cheers bubbles. I'm renovating flats etc so not time served or anything, just been teaching myself over last few years, so far I've built up to skimming decent sized walls and VERY small ceilings so any tips or experience is a massive bonus.
