I used one coat once and refused to accept payment, personally I would back the lot and get multi finish, not that thats much help it cant be finished the same as multi its more DIY ENTHUSIAST ,thats just my oponion....

I remember my instructor telling me the difference between paddles and how I will want a paddle that is large and twists up the way and not down so as to pull the multi finsih up and not drive down and the smaller the paddle the more mixing the more air through the finish the faster its going...
If you dont mind me asking why use renovating plaster? of all the jobs I have done thats on refurbs houses 'flats etc I only ever use Hardwall or Bonding or sand & cement, what benefits are you getting from renovating plaster over other materials?
