Will the foam adhesive stick to a dusty wall? Will kitchen wall units go ok onto it with the foam?

Not so much looking for an actual quote, just a rough idea to see if I want to go with solid plaster or skim on board. North Warwickshire.

Cheers. I don't have that much to spend on the wall. Its not too bad, was more a case of if there was anything I could do easily to help. Its worse on the other side of the house but I don't hear people or music but their kitchen is next to my lounge so I can hear drawers from their units...

Any ideas on price for solid plastering vs just a skim if I was to board it? its a 5.5m long x 2.3m high wall.
