Anyone know / recommend a decent 360-degree worklight?

Pleased to hear it mate, mine is still going strong, even had a few dinks and been kicked around a few times by clumsy labourers can’t beat it for the size and price of it

Also comes with a hook that you can attach to a cable on ceilings when you’re down on the walls

Anyone know / recommend a decent 360-degree worklight?

Yeah I definitely recommend it, the 60w was also unavailable when I bought this one, so I don’t know if they’re making them anymore. But as you can see in the pic it does a great job and I rarely need another light to back it up unless it’s a big room.

Anyone know / recommend a decent 360-degree worklight?

I bought this one in November, it’s the best light I’ve had. Was considering getting the dewalt battery light for £220 but this does a good enough job for £150 less. Choen 110V 240V 45W Led Work Ligh... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078N81R82?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Hi all, first diy plaster job.

I tend to buy 30L plastering buckets in bulk from Direct Building Products, usually order about 500-600 at a time which will last me a couple of months. and keep 10-15 in the van at a time, after every set I’ll just get rid of it or use it as a washing up/rubbish/piss and s**t bucket. Hope this...

What carbon trowel do you use? Marshalltown? Thinking of giving them a go, heard they’re much better when broken in. Had a Nela carbon but didn’t rate it

    Permashape my a***

Getting a nick out of the front of my trowel this morning using a whetstone, only a little bit of pressure and the f*cker snapped off and hit me in the face. Never seen or heard of this happening before, it was baltic on site this morning, maybe the metal weakened by the cold. Anyone had this?

MT blued carbon finishing trowel xt

Only problem with gloves is you’ve got to take them off in between trowels, so you can go on your phone and stare at Jen Selters backside on instagram:cry: But I suppose if you prep for next set or do more work, they’re good :D

MT blued carbon finishing trowel xt

Still got that naff rubber handle, MT need to go back to wooden handles or use cork like Nela trowels. Pain in the arse if it gets wet, can’t grip it properly. But that’s just me

    New here/fireproof plaster suggestions

Yeah sorry. Didn’t make it overly clear. Heat resistant: https://www.everbuild.co.uk/product/heat-resistant-plaster/ You can get it for about £20/20kg bag, I’d probably need 3 bags and for something that isn’t well reviewed and is prone to cracking, I’d rather find a different way.

I expect he has been, all could’ve been avoided if he just didn’t use it. Selfish really

    New here/fireproof plaster suggestions

Cheers mate, yeah I don’t really know what to do in this case. Cause he wants his beam left so I may just have to use the precious fireproof plaster. Although it’s made by Sika, is prone to cracking regardless of its supposed fireproof qualities.
