Thanks kitchy. Just 2 more quick questions. Paint or not before drys fully? And ball park time for when u would expect it to be fully dry, appreciate that there are lots of variables

Thanks kitchy. What about painting it before they are properly dry? I know there are a lot of variables but how long about would you expect before they dry properly? What is the worse thing that could happen from the spread of the dots isn't ideal?

Thanks for all the advice . I think the consensus is that it's damp from the block and it will take a bit longer than I would like for it to dry - I'm just very impatient !

Walls with celotex too

Facials and fibreglass roofing system on Before boarding and plastering done. Insulated with celotex. Roof lantern not complete yet, just covered with polythene so probably getting cold in there at night which might not be helping drying

Yes, it was rendered yesterday. But it's a double skinned block wall with the required insulation between.

I don't think that there should be an issue with damp, it is a brand new extension all built to building regs. My builder is away this week but the plasterers here doing rendering on outside . I asked him and he said it would just take time to dry. He did say today that the block work was a bit...

Hi , new to forum. The above pic is in my new extension. It has been correctly built with double skinned block and insulation. Everywhere apart from the dab marks has dried perfectly. It was boarded and skimmed 6 days ago. I am getting concerned because the damp spots don't seem to be getting...
