anyone tried Kraft Elite Series trowels? Been using a 12x4 carbon with wooden and leather handle for rendering, about the same price as Refina.

Been using Selco plastering sand most of the time, yeah its not bad... Leighton Buzzard I think.

I seem to remember hearing/reading, not to tile on plaster, it should be s+c. Because the adhesive is stronger than plaster(?).

I got some nice roof bars for my nissan primastar, but the wind noise on the m/way is deafning, i've noticed that some of the roof racks are more aerodynamic, so you can actually hear the radio.

I'd go with putting the trim on the inside of the reveal. Dab some adhesive, put the trims up and cut your tiles to fit. I think this is more accurate than sliding the trim in after cutting. I'm defintely no expert, I @@@@ing hate tiling. Word of warning Oasis, NEVER get involved with porcelin...

I remember overskimming on walls and the artex ceiling was to be left as is. Went to clean up ceiling line, and the artex started to come away on my water brush :-\

Yes Steve, I've recently bought an 11 & 14, they felt a bit wierd at first, really stiff, but i'm getting to like them, just got bored of MT, so i'd thought i'd try them out.

Hessian scrim, or i think we used to call it jute scrim,was a pain to put up and scim, hence the trowel, float, trowel to cover it. Saw some in TP last week.
