    That about the rates im getting anyway,I no cost of live etc isn't as bad here and on say a 2500 sq ft house if u work hard on it u can still make decent enough money,once I get my ritmo sorted I'll b on the pigs back then:envidioso

    @clemo,rates up here have been bad but creeping up a bit,day work for a contractor you'd get round£100 a day if roving a domestic new build you'd b getting between 3 and 4 quid a sq ft depending on spec,still sh#te but pays the bills!!

    Cheers,I must look into them a bit more,most of my work is private new builds which are mostly all block built so if I could spray over hard wall it would speed the thing up which would mean more profit for me which is all good. Thanks again

    hi lads,I've been thinking bout maybe getting a machine but im a bit behind the times and don't no that much bout them other than what I c on YouTube and read on here and I was wondering can u spray finish over sand and cement floating or is it just board u can spray over, cheers.

    Not sure yet bout headin over,there's me and another plasterer in my gang that are talking bout it but as big k says by the time u pay digs and flights or ferry and beer tokens and eating out of a chippy every night we could b worse of!!but in sayin that it would do no harm to try it for a month...

    No worries,if I was doing it over old pebble dash I would give the dash a good wash first then scud the dash with a ten sand to one bag of cement mix then scratch and take time to get it nice and straight and set beads properly etc then u would wait till the scratch was nice and hard and give it...

    Hi pal, being doin Webber and k rend over sand and cement scratch coat since 2003 and never had any problems with it,scratch was 3-1 with waterproofer.

    I use that green windbreaker stuff that u c round gardens,cut it into bout 8ft lengths get the labourer to fold it out from the wall when were coating works a treat for us.
