I have always used sbr on painted walls but a builder doesn't want it has anyone had problems with sbr on painted walls

Thanks sbr slurry is ok done that on a few jobs or is that not the done thing

Hi there just a quick one a builder has asked me to supply rendergrip and apply to a painted brick wall before rendering it.just wondering has anyone used it on a painted wall or shall I just insist on sbr slurry thank you dominic
