Remember when you render you always weaken each coat, what's weaker than paint? You should warn the builder ,give him the advice re best options ,if he insists then he can't blame you if it de bonds
 
Best thing would be to mechanical fix eml its down to u too be able to give the best advice and judge what's correct every situation is diff

I always make sure I do this if the customer wants it a certain way and I think there is a chance it will fail I always tell them before I start I will not be able to guarantee it,they usually change their mind and go with my option.:RpS_thumbup:

Yes when it goes tits up,they say,"you're the plasterer" they forget the other bit

yes I learned my lesson when I first started out on my own,naive and thought that every person(customers)were kind and understanding lol,I soon realised that when their money was involved it wasn't as easy as that.

we tell the builder/customer what we are going to do and how much it is going to cost. if they do not like it then find someone else. we do not take any risks thats how you can lose money.
