Evening all I'm having a few issues scraping enough product off the wall it seems a bit clumpy still when rubbing up, So been using and medi flex trowel to apply and obviously a plastic float to rub up and using prb crepisix and I haven't added any water because they advised not to originally so...

Krend are a bit vague saying 4 to 34 hours I know temperature plays a big part but can anyone enlighten me. cheers

Evening all I have a small krend job first time with texture finish for me can anyone give me some rough setting times for k1 spray over 6mm hp12 doing it next week and does it make any difference if lay on next day or is it the same setting times even laying k1 on days later ?????

I would give the lath a spary with water but not soak, as they will be really dry and this will help prevent cracking

I always try and close in my bonding with the trowel to save as much reaction when skimming up, just a little tip, good luck jim

Could be a bad batch or maybe temperature was high where u were working?????. Best mixing smaller amounts if possible

Can u give me some examples??? Do mean putting lime in the scratch or something else??? Be good to know for next time cheers

What would u of recommended???? The job has had the old render hacked off and left with house brick, not In great condition but they wanted the cheapest materials which is normally s&c

If after wetting down it still pulls fast, are u ok to sbr the scratch even with waterproofer in it already????

Hav u tried the bostick primer stabilizer?????, I think it's the best grit out them all but as always comes at a price.

I would cut the plaster away so I cut tape up the joint properly and then patch.

Did I read u say u could put some sbr on the scratch coat before floating up to help suction, if so can u prime and tacky coat ?????

Thanks for the tip with the sbr is 50/50 dilution ok ????
