I have a small krend job first time with texture finish for me can anyone give me some rough setting times for k1 spray over 6mm hp12 doing it next week and does it make any difference if lay on next day or is it the same setting times even laying k1 on days later ?????
What would u of recommended???? The job has had the old render hacked off and left with house brick, not In great condition but they wanted the cheapest materials which is normally s&c
My float coat will consist of lime and plasterciser and the other the 2 binders s& c, would anyone add a retarder of any sort or just keep soaking?????

I have a big problem, started scratching up exterior walls for smooth float finish render,
It seems to pull in too quickly to flatten properly, which does concern me for when we start ruling off and floating up.

has any one used the skimspeed rules, I bought the ox skimspeed with plastic blade thinking did both skim and render but I since realised otherwise, is there much difference in the blades???? and are the rules good for k rend too
thanks for all advice guys but I've decided on a slight u turn, I'm gonna use bondit instead in these temperatures might be ready to scratch in the afternoon, it should seal and key at the same time perfect

I'm after some advice on weather to brush a watered down mix of sbr on the brick substrate after dash has been hacked off, if so what's the best dilution anybody pls, new work is 2 coat smooth sand and cement.

Has anyone got any advce on skimming steep curved ceilings, where the curve has been formed all the way around the room, done a few before now but always find them a bum, I use a plasflex which does help but I was wondering if anyone had any tips cheers
Am using 90mm depth on the insulation slab size it's java board type not sure of brand off the top of my head,not done this part but used the k render products
Just after a bit of direction please anyone, when applying the insulation to block work what is best foam application or adhesive mix and what brands?also at what point are the fixings put in at the same time or later any advice would be a great help thanks

I thought it wouldn't be to much harder than sand and cement but obviously it's a different ball game I had a friend with me who has used the hpx before but it is a different system I guess
No mate first time with these, it look very crevice gutted cost me a to do, it seemed to go stiffer at different areas found it crap to use but obviously my lack of experience with it
