Total price 5k over, so more than 40% over,yes he said it needed a lot more plumbing than thought,everything through builder but dealt with each directly,weather wasn’t an issue,no issues with scaffolding,everything was supplied as requested, I’ll know to get a fixed quote in future

Yeah only mechanical fixings, it was 50mm insulated slabs , I think it was 12 to 15 fixings per slab

I won’t as long as the light doesn’t make it look worse than it is

I just thought was a bit steep for 2 lads plastering and 1 lad mixing, builder had everything ready for them. It was approximately 7 to 8 days in total so a nice bill.

The crack only starts half way up the wall

I’ll let the paint fill the cracks so job done

Can’t fault his work in other places just this room, no he didn’t board it but surely if he thought it wasn’t boarded correctly he would of said, it was all fixings no bonding

No was done by a pro, the builder who got him to do it insured me it was double skimmed, I’m not convinced that’s why I’ve come here for sound advice

Would that cause the cracks scrim tape was definitely used?

Hi everyone, have a few problems with newly plastered walls, I can see the joints in insulated plasterboard and hair line cracks in places what can be done to fix this any advice would be appreciated
