hi guys been to look at a job today and its just a couple of walls want re-skimming ..th thing is the stuff thats on the walls now looks and feels like sandpaper has anyone come acroos this stuff b4 ?? will i be ok wi just a couplke of coats of pva then multi ???
ive got a ford transit on an 03 plate only got 53000 miles on it aswell and its just sailed through its mot (thank god ) ....drinks the diesel though ???
going over artex i used to hate , but most of my jobs now seem to be covering them up and find them no problem now . i always give it a good scrape first 2 - 3 coats of pva depending on size of ceiling . 1st coat quite thick whack it on flatten then let it pull in as much as possible then get...
cant really do the hardwall cos still got skirting board on and coving aswell . did a job like this b4 and the skim just dried and cracked that was after about 5 coats of pva it was a nightmare . this gyprime how much is it and where dya get it from . or wouls it be best just to use me spare tub...

where i live we have a booklet which goes to all the houses , it comes out every 2 months and it costs me around 60 quid depending on the size of ur ad .. i get most of my work through this booklet ,having the van signwritten helped aswell
